Reason for Visit: Review: Dear everyone,
I am a resident of phase 6 Hayatabad Peshawar. I want to complain about this utter stupidity by our electricity department and the undue and unannounced load shedding they have continuously been practicing on all Saturdays and Sundays and whenever there is an air breeze or a rain drop. It never misses out on shutting down electricity which is absolutely unbearable anymore.
Please note that the majority of our civil debt and loans are owed to feeding the electricity departments and the IPPs etc. but it never seems to be correcting any services, productivity or ethics. They are literally looting us by having the highest electricity rates and taxations and surcharges whereas delivering the worst services ever.
The frequent and numerous switch offs and on(s) that the so called public servants and delivering are causing innumerable short circuiting in everyday appliances etc. This happens to convince us that there is some technical issues and to justify the departments unannounced power shutdowns.
I also want to reiterate and reassert that the problems in the system should/must be corrected by the department. System update and renewals are their responsibility and MUST not be at the brunt of the customer or consumer.
Please note again the electricity departments and the independent power providers are charging an immense rate for its services, the government is charging numerous taxes without any justified services and the infrastructure still remains dilapidated after decades because the resources utilized goes wasted or are usurped in the name of cheaper maintenance.
I would request " STOP unannounced power shutdowns and especially STOP SWITCHING ELECTRICITY OFF AND ON" because you are BURNING all APPLIANCES that we have bought with lot of difficulty and YOU are UNFORTUNATELY FAILING TO DELIVER SATISFACTORY SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC.
